Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-30. Draft for legal review by Frank Portillo before launch. This is a placeholder structure. The final version is reviewed by counsel and signed off before the site goes public.
goCloudOffice ("we," "our," or "us") operates this website at gocloudoffice.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect from visitors and customers, why we collect it, how we share it, and your rights under applicable law (CCPA/CPRA in California, GDPR for EU residents, and similar regimes).
Information we collect
- You give us directly — when you create a customer account, contact us, or subscribe: name, email, company, role, billing details (payment method handled by Stripe; we never store card numbers).
- Automatically — when you visit: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, referrer, time on page. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-respecting) and Google Analytics 4.
- From third parties — when you connect an integration: only the data needed for the integration (e.g., Stripe customer ID, billing history).
How we use information
- To deliver and operate the services you've subscribed to.
- To bill, account, and collect fees.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
- To improve the website and our services through analytics.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for essential functionality (authentication, billing session) and for analytics. Our cookie banner lets you opt out of analytics cookies; the essential ones are required for the service to function. See Cookie Policy for the specific list.
Sharing
We share personal information only with:
- Subprocessors who help us deliver the service (Stripe for billing, AWS/Cloudflare for hosting, Google for email/calendar). The list is in our trust center.
- Legal authorities, when required by valid legal process — and we'll notify you unless legally prohibited.
- An acquirer, in the event of a corporate transaction. We will give you 30 days' notice if your data would be transferred.
We do not sell personal information.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@gocloudoffice.com. We respond within 45 days for CCPA requests, 30 days for GDPR requests.
Retention
We keep customer data for the duration of your subscription plus 7 years (US accounting requirement) or as otherwise required by law. Visitor analytics data is retained for 14 months.
