Why ChatGPT — what makes it different

ChatGPT's strength is breadth. It does more things in one product than any other AI platform: chat, image generation (DALL·E), advanced voice for real-time conversation, Code Interpreter for data analysis, browser-based research, and a vast catalog of third-party plugins and custom GPTs. For teams whose AI use cases span a wide variety of tasks — and who value the familiarity of the most-used AI product on earth — ChatGPT is the right primary platform.

What we deliver

ChatGPT rollout, end to end.

ChatGPT Enterprise

The org-wide license: SSO with your identity provider, MFA enforced, no training on your data, admin console for usage governance, audit logging, custom data-retention windows. Per-seat, billed through OpenAI.

Custom GPTs for recurring tasks

Build pre-configured GPTs tuned to your team's specific recurring work — sales research, customer support triage, finance reconciliation, marketing copy review. Each GPT comes with the right instructions, the right knowledge files, and (where appropriate) tool connections to your internal systems.

Assistants API integrations

For agentic workflows that need to take real action — process documents, look up customer data, send notifications, update internal records — we build on the OpenAI Assistants API with retrieval, code interpreter, and function-calling configured for your specific use case.

Function-calling for internal tools

Connect ChatGPT to your internal APIs — your CRM, your ticket queue, your billing system — through OpenAI's function-calling. Scoped permissions per function, audit logging on every call, sandboxing to prevent unintended action.

Image + voice rollout

For creative teams: DALL·E for image generation with brand-voice training. For customer-facing teams: ChatGPT Advanced Voice for real-time conversational AI. Both deployed with usage governance and content-moderation rules.

Adoption + training

Role-by-role training sessions: founders, engineers, sales, support, finance, ops, marketing. Each role gets a focused 90-minute session on the patterns that move the needle for that work.

Who ChatGPT is best for

Where ChatGPT wins, where it does not.

Where ChatGPT wins

  • Image generation (DALL·E is the leading integrated text-to-image)
  • Real-time voice (Advanced Voice for conversational AI)
  • Code Interpreter (data analysis with charts, no engineering required)
  • Broad ecosystem (largest catalog of plugins + custom GPTs)
  • Familiar UI (employees often already use it personally)
  • Generalist productivity across mixed-discipline teams

Where ChatGPT is NOT the answer

  • Code-heavy engineering work (Claude Code is the agentic leader)
  • Workspace-native productivity (Gemini in Workspace is more integrated)
  • 1M-token context for full-codebase or long-contract work (Claude leads here)
  • MCP-native tool use (Claude is the reference; OpenAI uses its own protocol)

Education

What ChatGPT buyers should understand.

Custom GPTs vs. Assistants API — when to use which

Custom GPTs are no-code, live inside ChatGPT, and are perfect for "this is a recurring task and I want a configured starting point that everyone on my team can use." Assistants API is code, lives inside your own application, and is the right fit when AI needs to be embedded in your product or your internal workflow tooling. Most rollouts use both — custom GPTs for the team's day-to-day, Assistants API for the integrations.

Why Enterprise vs. Plus matters for security

ChatGPT Plus is a consumer product with consumer terms — your data may be used for training (you can opt out, but it is opt-out, not opt-in). ChatGPT Enterprise is the business product with enterprise terms — your data is never used for training, ever. For any business use case where employees might paste customer data, internal documents, or source code, Enterprise is the right answer. Plus is fine for personal experimentation, not for sanctioned company use.

Function-calling: the hidden production muscle

Function-calling is how ChatGPT reaches your internal systems in production — your CRM, your ticket queue, your custom databases. The function definitions describe what the AI can call; OpenAI handles the orchestration. We build production-grade function definitions with: scoped permissions per function, structured output validation (so the AI cannot call functions with malformed parameters), error handling that recovers gracefully, and audit logging on every call.

The o-series reasoning models — when to spend the extra cost

OpenAI's reasoning models (o1, o3 series and successors) cost meaningfully more per token but spend extra "thinking time" before responding — producing materially better results on hard problems (math, complex reasoning, multi-step planning). For routine work, the standard models are far cheaper and faster. Production rollouts use routing rules: standard models for most queries, reasoning models for the hard ones. We design the routing rules per use case.
